The project
A 1910 half-timbered Tudor on Summit Avenue in St. Paul: steep gables, a brick chimney, a deep front porch and a roof that was past its prime. The homeowners were preparing the house for sale and needed the whole exterior handled on a tight, coordinated schedule.
Paris Home Exteriors tore the old roof off to the deck, replaced decking where it was needed, and installed CertainTeed Landmark shingles with new ice-and-water barrier, underlayment, flashing and vents, protecting the landscaping and magnet-rolling the yard every day. Paris Painting followed with the stucco, half-timbering and trim, so one project manager carried the job from roof to paint.
